For some reason I’ve been thinking about my name recently.
A long time ago, I’m talking 13 years, (maybe Year 9)
a guy said to me “nice face, shame about the name”.
A weird comment,
I definitely don’t belong in R / trajedy

but it’s true that if you were to look me up online
it would be fairly obvious who I was.
My parents gave me my first name
because they were considering living in Europe
and it’s a common European name.
My father is from a non-European country
but my surname doesn’t sound like it’s from a different language
however people often misspell it

You’ll always have the obvious Gavin, Jones, Cameron, McSomething answers
but I’m curious to know if anybody has anything more specific to their region?
Or just generally unusual names
